We can advise on almost any issue at a generalist level.
We can look at the whole problem and advise you holistically.
To enable us to do this we use the national “award winning” Citizens Advice Electronic Information System which is continuously updated.
[a Citizens advice web site for the public to access is www.adviceguide.org.uk ]
Our advice can cover your contractual and statutory rights, rules and regulations as well as issues regarding the law.
Our advice can be,
- Simply “one-off” advice
- Supportive help - allowing you to take action yourself
Or, where appropriate….
- We can negotiate or act on behalf of clients
|
However, there are some areas where we are not licensed or authorized to give advice:
- Financial Advice, this is about giving advice about investing, buying or selling specific financial products. We would refer you to an independent financial adviser.
- Immigration advice above Level 1 (Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner).
If we cannot advise on any particular aspect of your problem we will, with your permission, consult with others and we usually know of other agencies or firms who can help.
The Core Advice Service offers
- Open Door, face to face advice sessions where you approach the bureau during advice opening hours and where no appointment is needed.
- Telephone advice and Appointments; limited by availability of volunteer staff
We can also respond to
We are currently unable to accept enquiries by email due to limited resources.
